Trainers: Win Turner Ph.D. LADC, is the Program Director of the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center Addiction Treatment Program in Lebanon, NH. He is a nationally certified trainer on the use of MET/CBT with adolescents. He has extensive experience working with individual treatment programs across the country in the adoption of this evidence based practice, and with state agencies concerning adolescent treatment systems development. He trains nationally for Chestnut Health Systems in the adoption of the GAIN.

Jody Kamon, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the Associate Director of the Vermont Treatment Enhancement Collaborative, an adolescent treatment systems initiative to increase best practice among treatment providers, including the use of evidence based interventions. She is an experienced trainer in the use of motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and behavioral parent training. Her clinical work has focused extensively on adolescent substance abuse treatment and child and adolescent mental health.

Trainer: Anthony R. Quintiliani, Ph.D., LADC
Dr. Quintiliani has worked in the field of chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders since 1970. His experience includes prevention and intervention work in schools, clinical services (treatment, training and supervision) in clinics, outcomes research, and extensive graduate level teaching/supervision in higher education (Ohio State University, The University of Vermont, Southern New Hampshire University and Antioch New England). Dr. Quintiliani holds Graduate Adjunct Faculty Status at The University of Vermont, Southern New Hampshire University, Antioch New England Graduate School and Johnson State College. Dr. Quintiliani has presented over 1000 professional workshops during his career, and has written numerous articles and manual on various clinical topics. He now serves as the Chief Psychologist for The Howard Center (ABHS) and the Chief Trainer for The Vermont Addictions Academy on Co-Occurring Disorders. He also provides clinical training and consultation as part of the Vt. Department of Health's Co-Occurring Training Initiative (DMH and ADAP).

  • Morning refreshments provided, lunch is on your own.
  • 6 CEU's per 1 day training available for LADC, Allied Mental Health, and Psychologists
  • Cost per 1 day training (unless otherwise noted): $25 for VAPA members, $65 for non-members.
  • Registration deadline is 10 days prior to a training. If the online registration is closed
    call VAPA voice mail at 866-482-3222 to learn if space is available for walk-ins.
